Sunday 1st May at North Weald Airfield, Essex will be the location for the 2016 Bike Show in support of the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance. We will be supporting this event as on previous years so come over and say hello at our stand.
Great news for bikers considering developing their rider skills as both these successful initiatives are set to continue this year, which as with previous years will be supported by Total Advanced.
Our instructors are police or ex-police advanced motorcyclist. Before the day we tailor our training to your needs and produce a personalised agenda. Whether this is back to biking or after an advanced qualification. We only train on a 1-1 or 1-2 ratio. We have radios so we can continuously give you instruction. A normal day is between 7-8 hrs in duration. We do some theory, but most is on road practical instruction. Subject to weather and availability we can video the ride and take ‘stills’ which you can access from our Facebook page. If you want we can produce a DVD with commentary at a small cost. You will get written feedback based against a recognised advanced standard, so you can benchmark your skills and progress. You may also become eligible for cheaper insurance.
Our instructors are all serving or ex police motorcyclist. Many are also advanced Rospa Examiners or have diploma’s in teaching advanced techniques. They are also assessors or have been for Bike Safe. Nick Brown’s background was on the Met Police Special Escort Group.
Despite the poor weather we have started already running courses. Each year demand has risen so our advice is to book early to avoid disappointment. Get a date in the diary, we don’t take a deposit until nearer the time and if the day needs to be moved there is no cancellation fee.

There has demand for us to carry out ‘mock’ Rospa tests as part of a riders preparation for the actual test. Many of our instructors are Rospa examiners so we can easily replicate the test procedure and provide you with feedback as part of your ongoing development. This mainly would apply to riders who have either trained with another company or through a local advanced group. Contact us for further information.
