Advanced Motorcycle Training in the South East. We are not a learner school where we are training CBT/DAS courses for 99% of our time.  For 100% of our time we only offer post test training so we are very much specialist’s in that field. By only using emergency service trained instructors ensures their own high level of skill can be passed on to you. All of our instructors also have teaching qualifications like the Rospa Diploma. Many have also been assessors with Bike Safe and we also have an advanced examiner on the team, all of which is designed to assist you with your development.

Government ‘Road Map’ leading to the return of training for 2021

26

Feb,2021

Earlier this week the Government announced its road map for 2021 allowing businesses to plan ahead for the year. The Driving Standards Authority and other road safety charities a few days later advised that after the 12th April both training and examinations will be allowed to continue. With a clear date set in the calendar, we will once again be open for business. This includes advanced motorcycle training, back to biking and also our off road trials option.

Restructuring of our trials experience days for 2021

5

Jan,2021

New for April 2021 Over the last 5 months we have been busy trying to secure another ‘off road’ facility, which was ideally similar in design to our previous site. This was in an attempt to replicate a secure/safe location, which tested and challenged slow speed control over a variety of different terrains whilst catering for varying levels of ability. (It should be noted this was never intended to produce trials riders, but to give competent road riders an opportunity to develop their slow speed control on off road terrains.) Despite considering and viewing many options, none were suitable or similar in ‘set up’ to our previous site. Realising the need to be more flexible with our approach we opted to produce a new ‘off road’ experience based on the facilities that we could actually offer. With that in mind the two options are:- • A personalised ‘off road’ experience as a day guest at a members only 10 acre dedicated facility. The terrain is able to accommodate complete novices up to far more capable riders. Abiding by the strict club rules ensures you will be our sole guest and have access to the whole site. We will provide you

Second Lock-down / courses postponed

3

Nov,2020

Following the weekends announcement from the government, the Driving Standards Authority, Driving Instructors Authority, Rospa and many others have decided that motorcycle training and tests will not be permitted during this period of lock down. Based on this specific guidance any of our training courses scheduled to take place between 5th November and the 2nd December will now be postponed.

Temporary loss of ‘off road’ facility

27

Jun,2020

Despite having assurances for 2020 from the land owner, we have overnight lost access to the ‘off road’ facility. For those scheduled to attend, I have already made contact directly and can only apologise, but this really is totally out of our control. To have such a facility has been very rewarding in observing riders improve their slow speed control whilst having a huge amount of fun. Whilst this is now on hold, we are actively exploring other suitable locations.
